Huey helicopters are as old as the American Army history, thus identified to it. Actually the first Huey helicopter was designed in early fifties, from 1952 when was the start point and the idea of its construction was caught out of an engine designed by Bell, and ended to a complete production on the U1-A helicopter, named Huey as a nickname given to the that initial construction of engine, that year after year, and for many reasons led to the construction of a power machine helicopter the name of which remained as the nickname Huey cast by Bell, as first name of the helicopter power engine.

Actually the first Huey helicopter was launched on 20 October 1956, after years of efforts for designing the perfect product for the US Military Affairs, and actually the idea had been initially caught, in 1952,upon medical evacuation of the American Army and utility. Of course the construction of Hey Helicopter model was perfection Ned only in March 1960, when the really improved model, having undergone many changes and modifications throughout years, for round 8 years, history until it reached its today form, and even kept on being improved some years later. Bell made too many efforts and testing, until a complete and perfect engine powered product was constructed; and launched to market and war affairs. There are round up to 180000 Huey models produced worldwide up to nowadays.

As description of this helicopter model we could say, it's today already powered by General Electrics, since 1960, and consists of a turbo shaft machine, with two bladed motors, one rail motor and one trail motor. It has strong altitude capacity and also ‘'hot-day'' ability, so this is really a warfare masterpiece product, perfectly sophisticated for hard ware affairs, as the war in Vietnam. Actually, too many Huey helicopters were launched during the Vietnam War, and if there weren't such a helicopter model, the result of the war for the American could have been much worse.

There are today, many models of Huey helicopters existing and manufactured, all similar to each other and to the start model of 1956, serving hard ware affairs nowadays, and can be compared only to other types of strong and resistant helicopters, like ‘'Super Puma''.
